Republicans extend a hand to organized labor with $15 per hour minimum wage bill

In this week’s Working Lunch, Joe Kefauver and Franklin Coley of Align Public Strategies discuss Republican Sen. Josh Hawley’s proposal to raise the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour. 

And they hear from Kelsey Streufert with the Texas Restaurant Association on progress made in that state on streamlining local permitting and fee processes, as well as pushback on the “credit card duopoly” that runs payment systems.

In addition, the two speak with Amanda Stone from the New Jersey Restaurant & Hospitality Association to discuss this week’s election results there.
