Golbon Announces New Distributor Member

BOISE, ID (December 12, 2012)—Golbon, a foodservice marketing group, announced the addition of Strauss Wholesale Food Distributing, Inc., effective December 1, 2012.

Strauss Foodservice was established in the 1960s as a dairy provider to Northern California. Currently, their distribution area is a 15-20 mile radius of Placerville, California. In addition, they operate a wholesale cash & carry located at their warehouse facility. Their customer base includes independent restaurants, casinos, healthcare, schools, and seasonal event operators. In 2012, the business was sold to Donald F. Krueger and is now doing business as Strauss Wholesale Food Distributing, Inc.

They have joined Golbon to expand their product offering and develop new relationships with approved suppliers.
