Noodles & Company sees retention boost after adding employee benefits

The fast-casual chain released its first impact report Thursday, noting that both management turnover and hourly employee turnover have decreased.

The fast-casual noodle chain is raising prices 3% starting next week, on top of 2.5% pricing taken earlier this year.

Noodles & Company is seeing record average unit volumes. The fast casual reported AUVs of $1.35 million for April, a 13% leap over 2019.

West, an industry operations veteran, had served as executive vice president of operations at the fast casual since 2017.

Armed with new restaurant designs, new menu items and new operational efficiencies, the fast casual said it is primed to start opening more locations.

The chain said it was “strongly recommending” its workers get shots to protect them from coronavirus.
