Burger King is cutting the price of chicken nuggets to about 15 cents each when ordered in batches of 10, the latest instance of a big quick-service chain stressing value in high-volume orders.

Forget the latest indy bands. The big hit was Momofuku’s David Chang, who revealed plans to open a fried-chicken concept.

Building off momentum from the 100,000 Opportunities Initiative led by Starbucks, the Mexican fast-food chain seeks to make its own mark in the youth-employment movement.

The chain is playing coy about the mystery product, which it will unveil during the Super Bowl.

Taking a cue from its annual World Series giveaway, the chain is debuting a promotion tied to the NBA Finals.

As consumers increase their off-premise dining, limited-service operators will continue to study their priorities and habits, as well as borrow ideas from chains who are doing it right.

Its new lineup of naked chicken menu items will be available until mid-November.
