The Fountain Valley, Calif.-based fast-casual has been a consistent grower in recent years. The chain finished 2020 with 25 locations, thanks to a three-year growth average of nearly 50%. The sustainable seafood concept added four locations in 2020 and generated sales growth of just over 13% last year.
Slapfish started as a food truck in 2011. The concept serves seafood in a number of formats, including fish tacos, shrimp burritos, fish and chips, salads and sandwiches, and a variety of lobster dishes.
