‘Smart’ lockers enhance the order pickup process

Food pickup challenges have led some forward-thinking operators to install smart pickup lockers, like those from Apex Order Pickup Solutions.

The multi-concept operator said it is seeing sales and traffic pick up in many parts of the country, and that it is looking to add one to two restaurants a year to its portfolio.

The steps restaurants are taking around sanitation and cleanliness should be highly visible to customers and promoted with signage that reinforces the message.
