Its customizable burgers (including elk, bison, vegetarian options and more), sandwiches and salads boast organic, antibiotic- and GMO-free ingredients. Mostly located in neighborhoods, interiors are made with reclaimed materials. Bareburger avoids a preachy tone, however, describing its “Chief Bear,” CEO Euripides Pelekano, as enjoying “happy people, success stories and long walks on the beach.” Bareburger is expected to launch Burnside, a fried-chicken-and-biscuit concept in Queens this month.
