Dog Haus is thinking forward—not just with its menu, but also in the way the franchise opens in new markets. The hot dog and burger chain offers both Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods on its menu—it serves an Impossible Burger, for instance, and Beyond Sausage. It is also looking to grow using ghost kitchens. The fast-casual chain signed on to the off-premise-only startup Kitchen United, with plans to open in 25 of those locations by the end of next year. While many will be in markets where Dog Haus doesn't have a presence, the company believes it can be used to test the concept before expanding.
