The funky pizza concept, which received an investment from David Chang backers RSE Ventures in late 2017, is known as much for its commitment to culture and its employees as it is for its oblong, thin-crust pies. About 60% of customers build their own, while the rest choose from &pizza's "Hits," CEO Michael Lastoria told Eater Boston earlier this year. The chain is also delving into partnerships, opening a shared store with Christina Tosi's Milk Bar concept in February in the Boston area.
