Like many of the ventures developed by Sam Fox, head brainstormer for his Fox Restaurant Concepts (FRC), Dropout gives familiar options an upscale twist. Guests can get a soft pretzel, for instance, but it's served with provolone fondue. FRC was acquired by The Cheesecake Factory last year for about $353 million.
