Chowking is a quick-service Chinese concept that originated in the Philippines. It's owned by Filipino fast-food giant Jollibee and opened its first U.S. location in 1995. A menu of dim sum, noodles and rice bowls make it relatively unique among QSR brands, and its 33% sales growth last year helped lift it onto the Future 50 for the first time.
