Starbird Chicken CEO Aaron Noveshen told RB earlier this year that the chain would soon bring on franchisees, noting the recent success of a licensing agreement with an airport operator. Private-equity company KarpReilly agreed the chain is primed for growth, investing $12 million in the concept last November. Leaning into tech, the fast casual runs multiple virtual brands, including Starbird Salads and Starbird Bowls, and has also added kiosk ordering at all its locations.
