Slapfish was founded in 2011 by chef Andrew Gruel as a food truck in Orange County, Calif. The sustainable seafood concept currently has over 20 locations throughout the country, and was purchased by Mac Haik enterprises earlier this summer. Its seasonal menu includes chowder fires, lobster rolls, fish and chips, fish tacos and more.
